Honorable gentlemen of the Order of Confederate Gray:

It is once again my privilege to convey to you the thanks and appreciation of all members of District IV, United Daughters of the Confederacy, for services rendered at the recent Harvest Ball at Southfork Ranch. Your professionalism, authenticity, and precision in all that you do as both color guard and honor guard, always adds a very special touch to the UDC activities in which you so graciously participate.

Your appearance at the Harvest Ball, and the unique services rendered, enhanced a very special evening. We hope you enjoyed the evening as much as we enjoyed having you.

We, the ladies of District IV of the United Daughters of the Confederacy, look forward to having you join us in future events. Your presence certainly adds great color, appeal, and authenticity to every event that you support.

The meaning of the slogan of the Grays, “Honor and Serve”, was certainly well demonstrated on that night.

Sincerely,
Selma Goswick
Chairman, District IV
United Daughters of the Confederacy
