Subject: Parade and Dedication

For all who read this notice...
There will be another parade on the 17th of January in Ft. Worth. This will be the annual Stock Show Parade. Our place in line has been secured and we invite all to join us and march in this historic parade. Remember, this is the one that the original Ft.Worth Confederate Grays led and marched in until the early 1930's. Our contingent will be led by Capt. Dennis Young again this year and we hope to have at least as many as last year. This will be a great optional event for those not going to the 9th Texas event in Alabama. Also on Sunday the 18th. we will have a dedication in Tundra, Texas. Tundra is just south of Canton east of Dallas. I haven't received the details yet , but will post them as soon as I get them. Again, we need to fill the ranks for the parade and need help for the dedication as well. As far as the parade goes, we CAN CARRY OUR MUSKETS>>>>>NO PISTOLS, POWDER OR CAPS. Everything else will be allowed. Form up around 9:00 AM at 2nd and Taylor St. in Ft. Worth on Saturday morning and be ready to march out at 10:00 AM. All those who have horses or anything pulled by a horse, mule, oxen will need to meet at the same time at LaGrave Field on North Main.
Any questions, contact me at dan9thtx@yahoo.com.
