Subject: May 10, Fairmont Parade, Ft. Worth

To all who read this...Your participation is requested on the 10th of May for a parade in the Historical Distict of Fairmont in Ft. Worth. The parade will start near the cornor of Liscomb and Magnolia St. We ask that any and all parciptants form up with the Order of Confederate Grays at 10:00 AM. The parade will be a fairly short one. Among the other groups that will participate will be various Sheriffs riding groups, the Mayor of Ft. Worth and others. The folks that asked that we do this saw us in the Stock Show Parade and were very impressed. I think it will be a hoot. Directions would be: south on I35 from downtown area to the W. Rosedale exit, turn right, proceed in a westerly direction to Lipscomb (there will be a Wells Fargo Bank on the left). The parade will form real close to that location. Plenty of parking in the bank lot. Bring your rifles and such. We have a go-ahead for full accouterments. This will be another way to let the public see what re-enactors are.
