First of all,i hope everyone is well and ready for the fall season.Iwould like to thank those that were at the Stark familys dedication.The responce and appriciation from the family was touching.This is why the Order was formed.To help familys and organizations,honor the confederate veterans in a dignified and profesinal manner.To fine tune our drill.the nineth texas is having a muster at Fort Parker in Mexia Sept 13-14.so i encourage all members to fall in and learn.We have a couple of events coming up.One in east texas for the UDC.Sgt Hastings is working to set up the date,and info will be posted on the event page as soon as we get it.We also have a "Cross Of Honor"dedication on Oct 12th for one of our own.Color Sgt Preston Furlow.On this day we will be able to do two dedications,the cems are about 12 mile apart and this will be a first.We will also unfurl our new colors for the first time.So make plans to fall in ,this one gonna be great!!! As i stated during our meeting this is YOUR unit,please feel free to contact ANY staff member with your ideas and comments.Also almost forgot,our plans for future events are to have either musicans or a sound system incorporated into our ceremonys.a couple members are working to make this happen.Finally i would like to say i am honored to be apart of such a fine unit ,that has the heartand determination to Honor the Confederate Patriots of Texas.....Your Humble Servant ...HONOR&SERVE Randy Arrick
