Subject: Maypearl Dedication Ceremony

We had a very good dedication ceremony in Maypearl on November 10, 2002 and dedicated a Southern Cross of Honor for Leonard Newman's ancestor. The weather was great, there were plenty of spectators and family for the occasion, and we had three pretty good volleys. We do need more men of the Confederate Grays to fall in the ranks and help at these events. The reward is wonderful and you will know you have helped to honor our Confederate ancestors.
