Happy 17th birthday! Guess we can't call you BIT (Billy in Training) any more now that you've actually performed as a Hillbilly.

We'll see you at the Coffee Gallery Backstage tonight and hope to see other long-time friends at your birthday gig. (For those unfamiliar with the place, check the schedule on ScottGates.com Looking forward to seeing you perform in Julian in September and our local Pappy and Harriet's in Pioneertown in October. Sorry, we won't be making your performances in Texas, Oklahoma, Tennessee, Kentucky, Arizona... My that's one heck of a national tour.

It's been such fun watching you grow into the musician we always knew you'd be, and I'm sure you'll keep surprising us with even better and better music.

This is the first time we couldn't make Scotty's Birthday Bash
Maybe next year when he turns 18 , there will be an even oarty.
