Subject: Idea for the message board...

Hey guys I had an idea for the message board. I think that Kat and Jan are the moderators, so this is especially directed towards them...

We have increasingly had a problem with being spammed or having negative posts put up on our message board. I think this is a great board and it has been going strong for many years so I hate to see people messing with it. I was thinking that since the majority of the posters are the same usual group of people, that perhaps all of us, or at least several more could be given administrative privledges so that the board could be policed more regularly against negativity. Of course, I don't mean that anyone's post should be censored or that people should go crazy sabatoging each other, but that all the porn spam and negative anonymous posts we've gotten could be deleted more quickly, especially if there are youngsters coming to the message board. I really want this to be a positive place for us all to admire our guys!

So hopefully this isn't TOO farfetched of an idea. Let me know what you think (especially Kat and Jan) and have a super disney day!

Tats, Thanks for the suggestion. I hate the spammers and flamers too, which is why I gave Jan administrative access years ago. I believe if folks email her and me, one of us will have negative stuff down within the day.

Whoever has admin access has the ability to accidentally delete the whole board, change the access so Jan and I wouldn't have it, etc. I'd have to have absolute trust in anyone who had access and in their ability to deal with HTML.

Always good to hear from our lady in uniform!
