Subject: Apologies to Denver Dave

I just wanted to again express my deepest apologies to Denver Dave for accusing him of being "Silent Bob". I had posted an apology earlier but it has since been erased. I was merely outraged on behalf of my friends for the terrible things being said about them. I put too much stock in using IP addresses to identify people and have since realized that anyone from AOL could be the culprit or a good hacker that can manipulate things like that. I am very happy to be wrong on this occasion and have apologized to Dave privately but also wanted to make my feelings known to everyone. Thanks for bearing with me :)

....it appeared under a nasty post of Bob's and when you take off his, it takes everyone under him with it. I hope everyone will bear with me as I may have to occasionally take off a few posts that should have stayed on. BUT in the end, it's all good.

I didn't know about the AOL problem and I went off of information from the professional techies in my office. Sorry to have accused you in a round-about way. I really didn't think you were that kind of person, even though I have never met you.
