Subject: The Golden Horseshoe

Well, the lights have gone dim on the grand old lady of Frontierland..... The Golden Horseshoe. It's long overdue. The guys will be also taking their much needed vacations. This is also long overdue. [unless you're the Marshalls who are going to Washington during the hiatus]. Disneyland won't be the same over the next 4 weeks, but hopefully it will all be worth it to see her looking her majestic self.

Just to be on the safe side.... if some of us were so inclined, we could maybe drop a line or pay a visit to City or the Dinseyland website and leave comments about how much we miss some of our favorite entertainers.... Billy Hill, Side Street Stutters, River Rascals, The Aladdin Show, etc.

On a side note, Linda and I went to the last set ever of the Side Street Strutters. Just like the Billys, they also received a standing ovation for the 21+ years they devoted to Disneyland's Musical history. It was very sad.

ALADDIN is on the Disney Online Calendar through the month of November 2006 (that's as far as it goes at this time)

Called (714) 781-7290 and was told the following:
Aladdin will start up with a soft opening on Oct. 6th and then Oct, 7th will
begin regular performances. I was told emphatically that Disney is NOT getting rid of Aladdin.
