Subject: Clark's next show

Well, it's not exactly Billy-related; but, it's Billy-friends-related. My next show is coming up soon – it opens next weekend. I’m in “Brigadoon,” as Archie Beaton, one of the townspeople.

Brigadoon is a town in Scotland that, through an act of God, appears only one day every 100 years. Two Americans, who are on vacation, just happen to come across the town the day it appears this century. Tommy, an unhappy New Yorker, falls in love with Fiona, a Scottish lass; and, has to choose between his life, his job, and his fiancée in New York, or giving it all up to stay with Fiona forever. I play Archie, a merchant in town, whose son causes a lot of trouble in act II. The show includes many terrific songs, including “Almost like being in Love,” “The Heather on the Hill,” and “Come to Me, Bend to Me.”

The show runs Friday and Saturday nights at 8pm and Sunday afternoons at 2pm, from October 6 – 22. The theatre is located at Main Street and Santa Ana Blvd, in Santa Ana. You can take the 5 freeway, get off at Main Street and go south a couple of miles; or, get off at Santa Ana Blvd and go west a couple of miles. Tickets can be purchased at 714-547-1872, or at alicestau@sbcglobal.net; or, you can buy them at the door. You can go to www.mspshows.com for more info. It might be worth it, if for no other reason than to laugh at me in a kilt.
