Subject: Love that New Billy on Banjo pickin' the heck outta ZZ Top!

My husband & I are passholders and catch the Billy show every chance we can! Seeing their show is always the highlight of every visit. We stopped by the Golden Horseshoe yesterday (6/3/08) and heard from a new Billy who sang lead and picked a mean banjo in a Billy-bluegrass version of ZZ Top's "Sharp-dressed Man". What a hoot! I absolutely love these guys!! It's always great fun to hear what they are going to countrify next! I wonder if the Disney Imagineers can help them rig their instruments to "spin" in front of them while strapped over their shoulders somehow...wouldn't that be so ZZ Top!?

Yep - Elvis Billy was there and he led the rest of the show as usual, but gave the lead to this new Billy during the ZZ Top number. As for a description of the new Billy, that's a tough one...he was probably in his fifties, slender, clean-shaven and only played the banjo and guitar. It wasn't any of the usual banjo players (i.e. Rick Storey or the banjo-billy who does the cool electric guitar solo a la Chuck Berry). Any ideas?
