If you are going to give advice, you need to back up what you are saying with the Scriptures. I would be very careful concerning praying to anyTHING but the Lord Jesus Christ.

Think about it. Praying to something that is NOT omnipresent is like more than two people talking to you at one time. In this case, if hundreds and thousands of people are "talking" to somekind of angel or a "saint" or "Mary" they would have to be a god to hear all those prayers. This is ludicrous and unscriptural and you are dealing with the occult because something just might answer you back and it won't be the Lord Jesus Christ. For the record, it important to acknowledge the Lord Jesus Christ, because that is our Lord's title. Why, there are many lords, many Jesus (just go to Mexico) and many christs in different occults. This is why it is important to acknowledge that the so-called new versions of the bible that go and change those places in the text where the Lord Jesus Christ is referred to "the Christ" is a subtle infiltration of new age theology.

Look, concerning your issue, you, no doubt, have gone through many ordeals that some women cannot even begin to understand. Did God allow it? Did God allow all the persecution, stoning, etc, happen to the Apostle Paul? Yes, He did. You would be very naive to think that the Lord didn't have a purpose for the Apostle Paul to go through what he did for no reason. Paul gets to the point with he said that he glories in his infirmities. Look it up in the Bible. Pray about it, and see what the Lord would have you to see.

My guess, is this - You have gone through those events so that one day, you will be able to help someone else who is going or has been through similar events and it will be an opportunity for you to 1. Give God the Glory he deserves by being able to give your testimony on how the Lord got you through those things. 2. You will be able to tell that person that how to get Saved!

To drive my point home, I will ask you a question? When did the Lord ever promise that your life before or after salvation would be a bed of roses?

Romans 8:28 is a good verse to help you understand your situation. Both the bad and the good "All things" work together for the good to them that love God and to them that are THE CALLED according to His PURPOSE.

I say the following with the utmost confidence of someone who has witnessed her mother try to take her own life and finally succeeding after a battle of depression, escape from a family member who attempted to rape me, and now an ongoing trial of a man found guilty of molesting my daughter. I am not about to let the devil get any glory from this. I will, with God's help, use these situations to help someone else going through problems and if that person is not saved, win that person to Jesus Christ! What better way to heal than to turn these negative things into eternal positive results by seeing someone come to know the Lord Jesus Christ as their Saviour. Count your self worthy to know that the Lord thinks of you so highly that He would allow you to go through those things to Glorify Him and bare someone elses burdens and do all to win that person to Him.

Here is a nugget that you and anyone reading this should never forget -

All men and women from the beginning of time have wanted ONE thing. That one thing is to be happy forever. The only way to do that is settle the issue of your eternal souls destination and establish a personal relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ for all eternity.

Got something better? Don't trust me, ask God to reveal what I am saying to you is the truth. If it is, than do something about it!

Another thing, if you want to grow into a real soldier for Jesus Christ, find a Bible believing church. Call the number at the following website and ask for a Bible believing church in your area.
