What would you listen to if there was no Doom, M.I.C.'s, Hiero, Lootpack, etc? This is a reality that may come true soon if we don't support our artists the way it really matters: BUY THEIR RECORDS!!! I personally know 2 important hip-hop figures who are strongly considering taking their careers in a different direction (acting, screenwriting, clothing, etc..) because the means are not being justified by the ends. Bootlegging is getting too much out of hand. Everyone on this site should have retail copies of "Operation: Doomsday" & "Escape From Monsta Island". If you have a CD-R copy, you are part of the problem. If you really like the shit once you download it or you boy ripps it for you, then COPP IT!!! Why would independent artists continue to press vinyl & CD's when they aren't really making much money from it, for the love of hip-hop? That "love" won't last fellas, especially when most indie artists finance their own projects. A lot of your favorite artists live modestly, and a lot of them are growing frustrated with trying to make a significant amount of money. Indie artists like Doom don't need to go platinum to make money, but they do need your support.

There ain't too many fans of underground hip-hop, so if the artist you love today aint fuckin with hip-hop tomorrow, we can just blame ourselves.
