To you all. Unlike the propaganda that FOX NEWS and other people/media put out I really support our Troops. I have some boys there and they should NOT BE THERE. The volunteer army consist of my people the working class, middle to lower class kids I grew up with that have no money and want to stay out of the trouble we used to get into as kids.
With this invasion we now can see there have been no WMD's used. Mr. Bush was wrong that the Iraqi's wanted to be liberated they hate us more than Saddam, and we are slaughtering tons of IRAQI Civilians (collateral damage). Why were we so eager to secure oil fields, and not as eager to use those troops at the fields to protect the Iraqi people? Mr. Bush and his people will tell you that "the oil is a valuable asset to the Iraqi people, it is their oil so we need to protect it so they can use the money to rebuild their country." Well I say if we don't protect the innocent people, and we keep bombing and killing the civilians there will be no Iraqi people left to use the oil. Also less Iraqi people obviously means more OIL supply for the World b/c less they will be using. So what does it matter if we lose a weeks worth of oil in a blaze? Why did Dick Cheney's former company Halliburton get the OIL FIELD CLEAN UP contract?

" They should not even be on the table. Why does the US get to decide who cleans up the IRAQI oil fields?
Heat on Halliburton
Meanwhile, Rep. Henry A. Waxman (D-Calif.), ranking member of the House Government Reform Committee, wrote the Army Corps of Engineers last week to ask why the administration has entered into a new, multimillion-dollar contract with a subsidiary of Halliburton -- once chaired by Vice President Cheney -- without any competition or notice to Congress.
The contract, Waxman said, was apparently signed on March 8, but not disclosed publicly until March 24. "The contract -- which is to extinguish oil well fires in Iraq -- has no set time limit and no dollar limit and is apparently structured in such a way as to encourage the contractor to increase its costs and, consequently, the costs to the taxpayer," he said.
Hill folks have long thought that Waxman can be a bit old-fashioned, unable to adjust to the new ways of doing things."
Why does Richard Perle one of the Bush loyalists even have a position of power as he had to recently step down as chairman of the Defense Policy Board for possible ethics violations? http://www.cnn.com/2003/US/03/27/perle.resigns/index.html
Why is it that the Republicans make people that protest the War and Bush seem like "disrespectful" people when as
Natalie Maines of The Dixie Chicks said best:
"As far back as I can remember I heard people say they were ashamed of President Clinton. I saw bumper stickers calling him everything from a pothead to a murderer. I heard people on the radio and TV like Rush Limbaugh, Pat Robertson, Newt Gingrich and Trent Lott bad mouthing the President and ridiculing his wife and daughter at every opportunity. I heard LOTS of people disrespecting the President. "
Why is it that our media does not tell the ignorant people of our country the truth about their government instead of the propaganda?
It is all about money and paying back the people that helped BUSH steal the office of the President of the United States. I cannot fathom even wanting to be in office knowing that he lost the vote of the People by 583,000. Why would he want to be in office when the people did not want him there? I would have been like "well they don't want me in office, and if the people don't want me I don't want it."
I keep hearing our government talk about "we are now working on getting in place the new government of Iraq before the Wars end." That is hubris of Mr. Bush and the family. Do you remember him saying the same thing when he stole the office of President of the United States? Does Mr. Bush even know what Hubris means? Spell it Governor!
These are the questions that need to be asked of our government. World opinion does matter despite Donald Rumsfield and Dick Cheney's stupid opinions. We are now looking like the enemy of the World we live in. I assure you the rest of the world is not as fooled as our own people.
PEACE
