Subject: THE DAY HAS FINALLY COME

My boyfriend has finally done his rattle!!! Be under no illusion it has been so hard and we've had our fair share of arguements along the way but its done!!! I'm sooo glad I gave him another chance (and another and another). Tonight he has gone out to see his clean mates for the first time, he's on naltrexone (anyone who is unsure that they work - they do. My b/f lied and said he was clean, I knew he wasn't I gave hime a naltrexone off the black market and f*ck me! he was so ill, I probably sound like an awful person for doing that to him but atleast now we both know that as long as I hand feed his tablet every morning there is no way he can go anywhere near gear).
He is going to try and find a job (pretty big task with all his convictions and no previous employment) but as I now see it if he can come off smack without the doctors, rehab, meth, subitex -just pure will power he can do anything!
We still have a long road ahead, there is a lot of making upto do with our families but I'm optomistic that it will all fall into place. I can now say my boyfriend is a true hero! Anyone who is feeling week but trying to get off please read this and think. My b/f was the same as you. now he is living his life again, he doesnt have to get up in a morning feeling rough and going out robbing to pay 4 his addiction, he is free. You can be too. A few days from now it will be in the past!
