My boyfriend of 5 yrs was addictedloo to heroin .. he had a $200.00 a day habit, got arrested at least 4 times a year.. In the first 2 yrs I was clueless.. I was young and didn't know he was on drugs... He never brought me around it , I never saw it ,,,Only after I found out about the drugs .. I used to spy and never found anything... he always said I do not want you around this stuff, I don't want you to see it or me doing it ... and that was how it was .. I would even try to open the bathroom door to see what was going on.. but he wouldn't let me... but what is did see .. was nothing but a horrible , life he created for himself and the people that loved him.. Even though I didn't do drugs this situation has scarred me for LIFE !! this was pure hell.. the getting high, steeling, begging me for money, knwoing he was killing himself everyday !! Thats is the worst part ,, Dealing with an addict , a heroin addict is the most draining thing ,, it takes everything you have and just puts you in a world you can never imagine,,,
My only option was to get out ! and even though I did ,,,, I am still dealing with the emotional stress.. we have been over for 4 yrs already .I still talk to him and nothing has changed...
Be careful.. you have a life to lead for yourself... Heroin is not Happiness...and addicts are wonderful people , the best .. the most caring loving ... but in the same ,,, they are liers , cheats , selfish even though they don't mean it .. The drug comes first !!
