I don't think she loves Marshall, I think she's just intrigued by him but a little frightened. After all, he appears to be a very pompous and arrogant, wealthy man and for such a young girl a man of such stature would appear quite frightening, but attractive at the same time. At such a young age she is obviously very confused about his advances towards her, and as such doesn't realise the magnitude of his actions, that's why I believe she's so quick to follow Briony's lead in pinning the blame on Robbie. She herself doesn't understand (like Briony) the magnitude of such an accusation.
