Having had a long discussion about this recently, I am uncertain, but feel that Lola is a Lolita to Paul Marshall. She is adolescent and flirtatious and perhaps, manipulative, but she is still (at least technically) a child.

I think she is aware that it isn't Robbie who rapes her yet there is some struggle between her conscience and her feelings in her refusal to acknowledge Paul as her rapist. Briony's suggestion it was Robbie provides her with a way of negating her own complicity. If it had been Paul Marshall, her provocative behaviour may have been called into question (rightly or wrongly) but Robbie is an easy scapegoat and enables Lola to become the victim and pitied rather than the temptress she could be viewed as.

I certainly don't think she loves him, but her flirtation echoes Briony's desctructive crush on Robbie; Lola is unaware what impact her actions will have until it is far too late.
