My son bought tickets to some appearance in NYC. He is an awesome young writer, so hungry for practical,as well as artistic advice from an experienced author. After the event he wrote down some questions and as luck would have it there was the author walking right past him. He gathered all his courage and spoke to the author, only to be looked at like some weirdo. Maybe that's because we're from a small town and tend to think you can communicate with strangers with great ease. What's with the celeb? Do they really just think they stop being human or what? They take your money for a ticket and you get the prepared schpeel and that's it?
