I too wonder whether Florence was sexually abused or not by her father, there are many hints pointing towards this, especially when she says, "i should just marry my father"
but i still wonder exactly WHY she hates sex so much.
I think that Florence loves Edward in a brotherly way only, she should have told im this before they got married. And i think Edward is a prick for not wanting to be married to Florence, jsut because she didn't want sex! But I really wonder what ever happened to Florence in the end?
