Ian McEwan chose to release his own unabridged audiobook reading of his new novel On Chesil Beach at the same time as the hardback release. On the final CD of the package is an interview between Ian McEwan & John Mullan (Professor of English @ UCL). During the course of their interview Ian McEwan confirms the the theme of this thread.
