Yes, I believe Florence was abused by her father. In fact, I was surprised the author didn't fully expose it in the end. Florence said "I was isolated within myself and yet from myself as well". (Or close to it) That matched with a reluctance to touch her father, her fears, guilt etc. all help define her as a victim of sexual abuse. I was OK with McEwan not making a defining statement about it. The truth is regardless of the basis of her fears, they could have worked thru it had they more courage.
