I'm going to admit something - although I did read this book, I had to go look at a synopsis to remember it in detail.

That's why I read books over and over - I do them in print, audio and if there's a movie, I watch it.

With good writers like Ian McEwan, you like to drink in as much as you can - and that's a good way to do it.
