Subject: The Cement garden

I am writing an essay concerning the presentation of the protagonist in the Cement Garden (JACK).
Would anyone be able to help me any information on this or anything I could include in my essay.
For example- Narrative technique, Use of language, How the reader is supposed to react to Jack
