Yeh, I am also confused. Part 2 and 3 should be the story written by Briony. Right? Then the short meeting before Robbie went to war may not be real? However, it is only mentioned on page 370 that Briony never saw Robbie and Cecilia in 1940. I just hope that at least they saw each other for that 30 minutes. :( Sorry, I am an Asian and forgive me for my bad English.
