Think about Henry's last name this way-- if you split it up into two parts, Per and Owne, you can find significance. The name literally means, per (each) own (individual). Henry is a man who lives strictly within the confines of his own private life, his privileged, comforted, upper middle-class life. This speaks directly to the themes in Saturday of Henry's relationship with politics, the war, the happenings of the outside world, etc.
