Misty stared at herself in the pool of water.
"I can't believe this is happening!"
"Yeah," Ash chimed in, "I don't even like Growlithe that much!"
Misty turned on her companion.
"How dare you say that?! Growlithe are adorable, sweet puppy Pokemon! They may not be water-type, but I think they're cute!"
Brock snickered.
"So, Misty, you're saying you think Ash is cute?"
Misty's face turned an intrigueing shade of maroon. A second later her head swelled to ten times its usual size [Vulpix ears and all] and she began screaming at Brock.
"Brock, be quiet! You are such an idiot! I do not think Ash is cute! I said Growlithe are cute! A pair of Growlithe ears do not qualify Ash to be cute in my eyes!"
She calmed down for a second.
"Although they are a definite improvement..."
Ash sighed.
"I never thought I'd have to say this, but would you two just chill long enough for us to think about what we're going to do?"
