• "Goblins!" davin cursed under his breath. turning around he took the torch out of lily's hands "your going to need both hands for that weapon" then he fitted into blue's belt a short sword that seemed to come from no where. "you'll need something besides that bow." passing abigail he nodded at her. swinging the torch around his wrist it flared as the air fanned the flames. anyone looking close enough could see an almost maniacal smile play across davin's he seemed to whisper something to himself. -- Davin, 08:15:28 11/22/04 Mon
  • The Goblins surged around the corner screeming hatred expressed on the edges of their blades. Three figures stood above the flood of goblins. Orcs being largier than the goblins sported large hafted axes. (here we go) -- GM, 08:23:04 11/22/04 Mon

• The first arrow flew straight and strong before Blue could control the reflex. Eyes wide, he took a few shaky steps back as the full shock of the sight hit him. Adrenaline surged through him and it only took a moment for him to jump into action again. Drawing arrow after arrow, he let them fly into the wall of creatures...taking down those who would lunge ahead for the girls. This he would keep up as long as possible.   • the first Goblin fell with an arrow piercing his skull at abigail's feet. after that the the two girls disapeared into the flood of goblins. hints could be seen of them here and there. five goblins broke loose from the throng and rushed at blue, falcions (a kind of sword) waiting to deal death. -- GM, 07:47:03 11/23/04 Tue
• Lily scowled at Blue. She could see he was trying to protect Abigail and herself. She needed no protection. With a yell she burst forward into the fray, swinging her broadsword at the goblins. The flickering torchlight made her eyes gleam a fierce, angry silver-blue. She fought her way forward until she was fighting side by side with Davin. She thrust her sword at the nearest goblin.   • Two goblins fell to Abigail's to clawed gloves before one of the large orcs stepped up swinging his axe 20 pounds of death swung past abigail's face cleaving a goblin into on its backswing the orc press forword. -- GM, 08:01:35 11/23/04 Tue
  • (for some reason that on didn't go on abi's... oh well, pretend it did.) as lily came up to fight next to davin she could see the mad glaze that was over his face. the fire of the torches played off his face making his expression look even more maniacal. he didn't notice her beside him. he didn't even notice the goblins shreaking because of the flames. goblins still rushed them pressing together they surround them. -- GM, 08:24:20 11/23/04 Tue
• Abigal smiles, "Finally some action!" She quickly flicks wrists and three sharp, claw-like blades extend out of each glove. Obviously she is a close range fighter so wasting no time she rushes into the brunt of the battle. Speed and agility are her strengths and allow her to dodge well and stike quickly. Unfortunately power is a weakness of hers and so she avoids getting into any weapon to weapon locks were strength would be key. Moving quickly Abigal fights her way forward. • Lily noticed the very evil look on Davin's face and made a mental note of it. She shrugged it off soon enough though as the goblins pressed towards them. OOC: I guess she's still fighting goblins. I don't really have anything else to say. (NT) -- Lily, 13:18:50 11/23/04 Tue
• After taking care of as many goblins as possible with his bow, he was forced to replace it with the sword at his side. Wishing the weapon was a pair of hand axes instead, he weilded it as best as he could. Rushing to meet the oncoming goblin, he swung it overhead...much like a big axe. He had alot of strength in that young heart of his, but it could do nothing for him if he slipped up with his weapon. Glancing around as he fought, he checked to see if any of the creatures had a weapon he could end up using better than the one he had now. (NT) -- Blue, 10:24:19 11/24/04 Wed

  • Davin swung the torch at a goblin that ventured to close. seeing a chance another goblin tried to press in from the other side. davin dropped to his hands (or rather the torches as they were still in his hands. ) and kicked back hard. the goblin not expecting this caught two booted feet in his skull. with an odd crunching sound he buckled back. as davin regained his feet he felt a hard blunt object smash into his side. being hurtled across the floor the torches scattered to either side of him. the corridor got suddenly darker. -- Davin (and some GM), 10:38:20 11/24/04 Wed
• OOC: I know you said maniacal. I said evil on purpose. Lily still doesn't fully trust Davin and she thinks he looked EVIL! And doesn't fate normally play the goblins? BIC: Lily removed her sword from the gut of the goblin she had just stabbed. Lily hadn't been prepared for the onslaught of the darkness. In the few moments it took for her eyes to adjust a goblin arrow pierced just under her left collar bone. She staggered backwards and nearly dropped her sword. Her sword in her right hand she tried to remove the arrow with the left. The small movement caused pain to lance through her entire body. She gritted her teeth and tried again to remove it. She realized the end was barbed and she wouldn't be able to remove it then. Instead she broke of a long piece of the shaft and threw it to the floor. She realized that it was death just to stand there and that she had to keep fighting. With a warcry she decapitated the nearest goblin and begins grappling with the next. • One goblin fell to Blue's arrow before he was forced to use his sword. the four others charged in at him. one sporting a fletch (arrow) in his middle took the lead swinging his odd shaped sword in a downward diagnal arc. -- GM, 20:19:07 11/25/04 Thu
• One of the orcs seeing Lily dazed by the shaft hurled a hand axe at her only to see it clip of the wall behind her. when he saw her grappling with the goblin he tried again. aiming he let the axe go and watched it swing toward's his victim -- GM, 20:23:16 11/25/04 Thu
• Davin shook his head from the clouds that seemed to encompass him. the battle raged in front of him. yet he seemed forgoten. slowly getting to his feet he kept to the wall of the cavern. the torches were still at his feet. looking around he picked out all three others that he had led here. this he had not expected..... -- Davin, 20:31:09 11/25/04 Thu

• As Lily struggled with the goblin the axe thrown by the other goblin nicked her in the same arm that the arrow had hit. The arrow wound was bleeding profusely now and she knew she had another enemy to worry about behind her. She pushed the goblin back and stabbed it in the stomach. (NT) -- Lily, 16:22:12 11/26/04 Fri

• Ooc: I'm sooooo sorry! My computer kinda crashed, and then I got really sick from all the finals stress. I still have alot of finals to take care of, but I'll try to be on as regularly as possible. Sorry again! IC: After spotting a perfect hand-sized axe (it had been a throwing weapon for a larger creature), he dove for it...just as darkness decended. Scrambling around in the suddenly deeper shadows, it seemed like tense hours before his hands latched onto his prize. Adrenaline coursing through him, he spun around--still almost on the ground--and swung viciously around upward with a desperate cry. Whatever was diving for him was going to get a nasty and close-called surprise. Ooc: I don't want to assume that I dodge every hit, but I don't know what I should take. • OOC: Sorry guys, I've been out of town and haven't been able to post. BIC: Abigal turns to the creature closest to her and lands her claws deep into its weapon arm. Ripping it out she then turns to the next one. The lights suddenely dim greating making it very difficult for her to she, thus making it difficult to dodge. Just when she was about to attack one of the goblins a powered blow connects with the side of her head sending her sprawling to the floor. She stood up shakely (a little dazed from the blow). The spliting headache made it terrible difficult for her to keep her thoughts straight. She knew that a clear mind in battle can mean the difference from victory or death, she knew that she might be in a little bit of trouble.
