26 years is a long time.. I remember myself back then as a teenager, delivering newspapers on a sunday morning - standing in the street reading a personal account of a young mans experiences in the NCCCommunity (albeit a red-top papers edited version of it), having Mr Roberts come out of his house and demand his paper, and have to search through the bag for another copy to finish the article! Who'd have though that some 15 years later i would have started jesusarmywatch.org.uk !!! I've not even managed to get a copy of that article i read that day on the paper round (yet)!

I hadn't realised the JA dialogue facebook group had closed, but as the blog post i just read concerning the closure discusses, it had failed to live up to it's original purpose - of opening up dialogue with the JA !. I see the facebook boycott Goodness Foods/Direct group has ceased as well, or perhaps removed.

The JA do now seem quieter than i've experienced for a while. Whilst the forums here and my mailbox have been fairly quiet in recent months too! - i hope this is a sign of change - but I've seen lulls in the past a number of times (there was barely anything posted for months in 2002) - so i guess time will tell.
