"Flirty Fishing" is what they coined this type of behaviour when girls from the Children of God used to do it years ago as a recruitment method. I've read about similar behaviour in other evangelical groups more recently, and seen it in action in documentaries too. It's not something which comes up very often in connection with the JA, so unlikely to be commonplace there. But it is about the third or forth time it's been mentioned on these forums, usually by ex-members!

Can i ask what gave you the impression that young ladies where in love with you ? and also how you are sure that they weren't actually in love with you ?
