You need a TV with DVB-T entrance/input if you would like to look to programs that are free on air. I have bought a very cheap one, but it has got DVB-T entrance/input! Not all tv's have dvb-t entrance. On aliexpress you can buy a DVT-T transmitter for 10 euro or so, so that you can watch to the free on air TV-programs on your laptop.
