Subject: Food and poverty

Strange wasn't it the amount of poverty we all lived in, 3 to a room, sometimes more, old broken furniture, even a few months ago the furniture was of at least seventies vintage, the constant grinding poverty really got you down.

I remember seeing an old pair of army boots, left to rot after a days work, covered in mud, and thinking, shows how the wearer was so exhausted after a days work after yet another night of worship and prayer, that he couldn't even rinse his boots off.

I remember chopping wood, as no one else seemed to have the strength left to do it, and of people up till midnight, fervently praying, madness.

The food was the same in every house, coming from central stores, a lot of food being grown by the ja, and no real cuts of meat at times, even the marmite was a special ja brand, goodness foods I think.

I remember the joy when I sourced a new toaster, it was second hand, from a skip, they cost about a fiver at the time.

I did have some peaceful times as well, and the houses had a different atmosphere there, I guess you could call it home, as I'd never had a proper home before the ja, and going back was like going home
in a perverse way, I shouldn't have gone back, as I created my own home, and life, but you know how it's is, no place like home etc.

I know the ja would never let me back anyways, as they know who i am, and no doubt have seen my posts here, and the few people I was in touch with now don't return my calls or texts.

That feeling if home and belonging and love is what attracts most people to them, but its a false sense of security, and you end up being spiritually abused, cunts.

There are lost people out there, but the ja isn't the answer, in the end the ja screws them up and chucks them out, the answer is for people to confront their problems, and create a life for themselves

Most of the ja members would have been fine without the ja, and some better off without them

Our revenge is being happy, successful and being good people, and trying to be happy, and talking of our issues on a forum like this.
