Oh yes I agree barbara, keeping you in poverty was a tactic to keep you downtrodden, they still do this, if you'd stayed you'd end up wearing charity shop rejects, as you wouldn't have the money for anything else.

A fiver a year sounds about right, and all part of the plan, shows how sneaky and devious and evil the ja really are.

Some sisters still live that way, this was the kind of poverty I meant in my posts.

I can only imagine the bullying the children must have received.

One house leader though used to make the children share shoes and socks, sick when you think of the money they had, same as he m and s food thing.

Shabby houseing, shabby clothes, no variety of food, no going out, ja life was boring drudgery.

The ja make big stuff of people buying children gap clothing, and designer stuff, dismissing it as worldly, and they have a point, but to tell you to only spend £40 a year on clothes is extreme, as is giving people a fiver out of benefits, madness, Noel was a madman, maybe people will realisemthsy were following a madman soon, and they still are, lets face it, a lot of ja groaned when they heard haines had taken over.
