Wikipedia is somewhat peculiar in the way in the way it works. It all looks like English (well, the en version does anyway), but many words and terms are re-defined, and change over time, making 'wikipediaish' it's own ever-changing language. Anyone not knowing the definitions can end up writing something which means to them one thing, and it ends up meaning something else! - The words and terms definitions can change from time to time too...

It does seem to have similarities with the style of 'Study Technology' techniques, particularly when it comes to 'Misunderstood Words', which are common in Dianetic learning methods (it's probably worth looking them up in Wikipedia !)

The 'Words to be avoided' and a few other policies seem a bit peculiar too.
