I don't know if you are in community, but I will say that my guest said that this was one site he was not supposed to contribute to.
As regards friendships, I have recently had quite some experience of friendship community-style and had made it clear that it must be friendship for its own sake, as I would never come round to the fellowship's way of life or, as they hoped, rejoin. Eventually I got a text, in response to one suggesting that we had been out of touch for some time, saying that it was getting hard for them to be friends with someone who didn't seem to be coming round to their way of thinking.
If you are free to choose your own friends and to keep them, regardless, you are probably regarded by the household you are associated with as something of a fringe member and potentially a liability.
In my time there were only two styles of membership and if you weren't in community (or moving that way), you were second class; not quite the real thing, a border-line backslider, etc.
