Yes, it's good to remember things like that. I will never forget a kind deed that a woman in a motorway service station did for me when I was a teenager. I had run away from home and was hitchhiking to Devon, I had very little money. I got a ride to a service station near Watford I think, and I bought a cup of tea, it was all I could afford. The woman who had made the tea came over to me, I thought she was coming over to tell me off for making the tea last so long, I was so cold that I didn't want to go back outside. But she asked me to come to the counter and select what I wanted for breakfast. I told her I couldn't afford it, and she just smiled and said it was on the house. I have no idea how she knew I was broke, but I will never forget what she did.
