I think Noel was gay and the JA was his gayboy fantasy world to try and cover up the fact he was gay.

I know of quite a few people who do similar things to cover up this fact. Trying to to 'macho' things that real men do..like join the TA..

There are so many 'gay' characteristics I've noticed..though none more that the Leather Lederhosen pants and cracking a whip, while marching up and down the stage.
