I doubt that I could convince you to the contrary, so it probably would be a waste of time trying to convince you. The reason I objected to your site was not that I wasn't involved with it (note that at no time have I attempted to contribute to it), but because it contained quite a lot of material which even you admitted needed removing...stuff which set entirely the wrong tone, written by your predecessor. Subsequently, long before you made it a closed group, I was quite pleased that I was not associated in anyone's minds with it, because even the stuff which you thought should remain focussed too much on issues over which we have fought before.

Why I care is that before I talked to Mr X I was concerned that his arrival on the scene came about within 24hrs of the JA's closing of the Group on FB, which coincided with Ali Maclean's meeting with JC.

In other words, I was concerned that you might be about to hand control of your site over to a member of the JA, which would neutralise the group at a time when they have had to close their own.

I think Mr X would be good for your group now and hope you are talking to him constructively. It is clear that he has sound recent-ish knowledge of the inside workings of the JA, which is something that neither you nor I have.
