I have just returned from her LJ where our beloved and revered Almond says this:

"My computer is deader than the deadest thing in Deadonia.
It quit working yesterday. Not being talented at computerese, I can't describe what's wrong with it, so let's just leave it at "it's fallen and it can't get up". My brother-who-loaned-it-to-us said he'd take a look at it "when he has some free time", so if I'm lucky I may be back on-line in a month or so.
I'm at the library right now, but I can't do this often, and when I do I'll need to spend my time cleaning out my email accounts so I don't lose them. I'm sorry, but I won't have time to post anywhere or answer emails."

Shall we have a wake?
