Hi folks..nice to see that some old faces have delurked and popped in to say hello. So a big Hi to Almond, Kung fu, Most Evil Goddess of flamey things and Gothicwoman.
Still playing catch up..although we’re keeping out noses ahead of Sky, if only just.

Over all this was a fairly funny comic episode, our two protagonists decamp to Rome (yeah, right) but this was no roman holiday for out two vamps. Buffy who is living La Dolce Vita in the eternal city, appears to have hooked up with Angels arch nemesis, the Immortal. So both he and Spike rush to her aid, despite the fact that Buffy refused them help when they were try in save Fred’s life and she’s a vacuous tramp who sleeps with any monster that shows half an interest (I would just like to point out that it was Rack who made me say that – he still has Buffy stabbing F♥ith issues). Any episode where we get to see Spike and Angel(us) back in the old days with the dodgy wigs and even dodgier accents is well worth it, especially as this had Darla and Drusilla to boot. Although I didn’t think that Angelus was that emotionally attached to Darla, we saw in an earlier episode where he slept with Dru to make some kind of point to Spike (Destiny I think). Anyways, even though we didn’t actually see the Immortal (or Buffy for that matter) I got the impression that he’s a right annoying sort, who would get up anyone’s nose. Andrew made another appearance, which again is also good value, he mentioned that he was staying with Buffy and sister (Dawnie), but we never saw her either. Was she out having fun too, perhaps off to Turin to watch Juventus play. Yet again a reference from Buffy makes it over on to Angel, with the dark brooding one going on about cookie dough, fair made me hungry all that talk about cookies. Loved Spike’s “What are you on about” expression whilst Angel waffled on. You would have thought that the bomb would have caused some harm to Spike and Angel, maybe not kill them but, you know, loss of limb perhaps – but no, not even a broken finger nail.
Can’t see Angels new leather jacket catching on though. Here’s a thought, Spike was lamenting over the loss of his beloved leather trench coat, but a few episodes back we saw him get shot with a machine gun and having the bullets plucked from his back…now are you telling me that they never made holes in his leather. W&H obviously have a good tailors. Despite this being a fun episode, nothing really happened to set the stall for the final episodes. Nina got a mention and I wonder if that is an omen of things to come, plus is Anya..oops I mean Illyria starting to develop feelings towards Wesly..or should that just be is Illyria starting to develop feelings. With only two episodes left will the big bad make themselves known…or perhaps they already have. **
Well, that’s it for now…
