That goat is mightily weird. You’d have thought that it would have snagged the T-shirt on its horns…ummm.
By the way, I got an email from LionHunter, unfortunately the poor girl is having trouble posting due to the nasty voy demon. But she sends her love to you all.
Almond: With regards to my choice of Aerosmith’s “Angel” as track of the week, I almost went for the Hendrix song of the same name – but something made me plump for the ’smiths instead. Can’t imagine what the other choice of Angel related songs there would be…don’t think there’s one called “Hell salty goodness” is there? I actually made a start on the “Warriors Apprentice” last year but got side tracked so I started again. As an incentive to make sure that I finish it, I brought the tarasApprentice approved “His dark materials” trilogy recently. So I can’t start them until I’ve finished this. Thanks for the info on the eonline poll results. Such a show of support for Angel would be hard for anyone to ignore I would have thought. Let’s hope that it does some good.
Mazzy: Sorry, I guess that I really should have emailed you back to let you know that the cards were received. Just that I was a bit pushed for time and thought that a public thank you would kill two birds with one stone. As I have no talent I think that everyone is wonderfully talented. I liked all the cards and the other six, including the F♥ith, will be used at some point. I don’t know if the thumbnail for it occurred by design or accident, but teddy’s eyes almost popped out when he saw it…I worry about him sometimes.
I checked out what was on the GN’R greatest hits and I don’t think that there is anything on there that would make you buy it particularly. It’s okay for someone looking to get into GN’R, but for a true fan I’d recommend the “Live era 1987 – 1993” double album as being a better “best of” album to invest your money in.
I don’t think I saw “When Harry met Sally” the movie, or if I did I instantly forgot it. But then rom-com’s aren’t really my kind of film. Anyway, I doubt if they changed things a great deal for the play. I think I said it felt like watching a film minus the “film” part. If only they did a play based on the greatest film ever made…Kiss mets the phantom of the park.
EmilyBoo: We have something here which some of the other posters refer to as “The Voy demon”. It often tricks people into thinking that their post hasn’t gone through when in fact it has. Best thing to do if you get an error message when you post is to open another window and check to see if it actually posted okay.
tarasApprentice: American Idol actually started life over here as something called Pop Idol. It’s nice to see that Britain is still contributing to the world of culture (was that too much sarcasm?). I don’t watch the it myself, something that spawned the Cheeky Girls is to be avoided. They do show American Idol over here, so I might check it out to see what the fuss is about.
Have fun at the pilot shoot ~ tell Alyson she won’t escape next time!!!
I hope “Fee Fi fo Fum” isn’t anything rude…Oh well
