Well, then in such case Sri Anandamoi was "lying" then, when he related the story on tape about why my Master dropped the "casting of a shadow" segment in the second edition of Autobiography of a Yogi".
And based on what you just said, Jesus was not an Avatar either, he suffered on the cross like a human mortal. Sri Ramakrishna died of cancer in his throat. He suffered did not he? or perhaps he was just above the world of delusion. (I like the last one better)

Sri Yogananda went through the different stages of Yoga like an ordinary human being to set an example for all of us. Even on his last evening before departing his mortal coil he practiced the energization exercises. Did he need such technique after being in Nivirkalpa Samadhi since 1948? Of course not...
If he were at an earlier age in the highest Samadhi in communion all the time with spirit; he would have not be able to function at all and be able to fulfill at the same time his divine mission on earth. He would have been in divine "madness" like any other saints of the past.

Then Sri Daya Mata also lied when she wrote in "Only Love" page 203 here is a fragment of it: "To appear in human form, however, even a master has to take on a certain amount of delusion or the very atoms of his body would not hold together; but that is NOT KARMA...When any soul, even a Christ, descends into the world of duality and takes a human form, he thereby accepts certain limitations..."

Lahiri Mahasaya was an Avatar and until he did not receive Kriya Yoga intiation from his Guru Mahatar Babaji he had no clue of who he really was and his true mission.

Even Jesus in his last moment on earth had a moment of doubt when he said: "My God, MY God why have you forsaken me?" Mark 15:34

Birth and death are manifestations of Maya and only mean something in the world of relativity.

There is also another quote from Anandomoi saying that a disciple asked Sri Yogananda if he was an Avatar (divine incarnation), and he said "yes"

This is just an ASSUMPTION. I cannot proof to you that he was or not an Avatar and viceversa.

To conclude I never meant to say that you are so bad, even in the finest artistic pieces of furnitre we may find flaws.
