The fossils displayed at the site you mentioned simply show how weak, virtually non-existent the evidence really is. They are not even complete skulls, let alone a complete skeleton, yet this is the "mountain" of fossil evidence you referred to.

Take Java Man. A small piece of bone taken to be a piece of skullcap, a few teeth, and a possible thigh bone. On this basis someone has made a best guess of what the creature may have been, and it is now presented as evidence of a transitional pre-human lifeform. Hardly compelling!

What are we to make of the fact that the remains include both Java Man and Peking Man as well as African fossils? Is this suggesting that humans evolved separately in three different locations? Is it suggesting that the pre-humans migrated from Africa to Indonesia, then to China, then back to Africa before taking the final evolutionary leap into Homo sapiens?

If humans are believed to have evolved in Africa then any fossils found outside Africa are unlikely to be relevant.
