Dear Peace Pirate,
I have been interested in spiritualism from a very early age. It is only about the last 11-12 years that i have come to know guruji. I have been reading his works all this time. But as destiny would have it (and many would agree with this), there is a time for everything. In the past I have tried to apply for the lessons. I had filled the application forms, but I never got around to posting them. But now after many a tests, I am firmly rooted in this path. I am very new to kriya, but I know one day i will get there. A lot of things have happened in my life (both personal and professional), which has led me to believe that higher powers are at play. All doors close on your face, but then, one window will open and change everything forever. Due to my limited perception I don't know who was helping me (though all power comes from God alone), but being on this path and following PY, kind of gives me an idea.
There is no reason to break secrecy. There may be a very good reason why the Masters wanted it like that. Assuming that people jump straight to Kriya and not go through the purification stages of Yama, Niyama etc., would create disastrous effects. Also there is a possibility of dilution of the original teachings. But what we definitely need is encouragement from kriyabans who have been on this path for a long time and want to share their "do's and dont's". Experiences i agree are personal and it depends on the individual, if he/she is willing to share it. But not being near a living guru (though he is present in spirit, newcomers like me do not have the "eyes" to see him) can sometimes lead u astray.
