I have considered your view seriously and you may be right. But perhaps it is time to do what Roy has done. Maybe he is directed. His ministry has its place, thats for sure. One way is not the only way, and many people just do not like the tone of SRF, especially the big organization and the devotion aspect.

I heard somewhere else that SRF was going to reconcile with Roy or at least lower the battle flag, and they requested he stop making reference to the techniques so openly and get stricter on kriya requirements. He wouldn't I guess. Any info would be welcomed. He told me in person that Daya Mata in a private meeting said she has no objection with his giving kriya. He says this is what Master wanted him to do and he has met the attainments a yogacharya should meet, whatever that is. But she said "but don't expect the others to think as I do." Well, why not? TELL THEM how to think then. It just doesn't add up.

It is my opinion that Master would like yoga validated and researched by science and eventually this will include kriya techniques and stages, eventually.

It is funny no other Guru makes a big issue of techniques getting published, as Sivananda doesn't for one. He also publishes broad overviews of techniques just as Roy does in all his books. In "Kundalini Yoga", a technique 90% the same as our kriya is described. I just don't understand the problem. Seems to me the techniques will be preserved BECAUSE they are published and open, not the other way around.

This issue is one of a few in SRF that seems to be tainted with fear in my opinion.
