Good insight. It is a mystery why we cannot follow the example of our guru and visit other saints. SRF will tell you everything PY did was an example to us. But you mention this and they will say it is an exception. We will certainly get confused if we visit another saint and if they make exceptions, everyone will do it. Bunk. Reminds me of the scribes and pharisees criticism of Jesus. They have no evidence for it and no one knows if you are being dis-loyal but yourself. But around the temples you dare not mention you go to see Ammachi, even if you go for the atmosphere or to think of divine mother. It would be better to go to the "Terminator" movie than Ammachi, and what's more, Terminator is an ashram movie favorite. Such silliness. It actually has gotten a lot better the last few years. This a part of the fear consciousness that I am talking about. It's so palpable. To me it comes down to not wanting to lose donations and sevaks, so sorry to say.
I am really suprised no one is calling for my head after I make a post such as the last one. Well, perhaps the summer season sees less people reading this board. Thing is, anyone that partakes of this board would automatically be branded a subversive by SRF and it would likely be put on one's record if they knew our names. Doubt it not.
