The body of St Bernadette is one of the best known cases of bodily incorruption. There are however some grounds for caution before accepting this "miracle." Compare the photograph of Bernadette at the time of her death in 1869 with the modern photograph of her body. Note for example the shape of the nose. It may be that the body on display today has received some extensive touching up.
