I like that quote. Haven't read the book yet... do you recommend it?

Now, the way I read that quote, Yogananda is talking about the performance of kechari in paravastha, after pranayama. "Mind becomes enchanted" is an apt description of paravastha. The appearance of nada referenced in the quote in fact manifests in the stillness of that after effect poise. And, this could be considered to be while "practicing Kriya," since paravastha is an important aspect of Kriya.

I agree that Yogananda had high praise for the mudra, but I am sorry, I just have not seen even sufficient evidence in the Yogananda tradition to support the combination of kechari with the pranayam.

But like I said, if you guys feel divinely inspired, then I am sure God will bless you.
