I agree with this in as far as it goes. Probably all of us here have made serious mistakes that we regret. Perhaps in Walter's position we would have behaved the same way. However, most of us are well aware that we are not suited to be the spiritual guides of others. Walters on the other hand is presenting himself as something he is not.

If someone presents themselves as a "Swami" and a spiritual guide for their followers then we are entitled to expect a much higher standard of behaviour from them than we would from an ordinary seeker.
