Yes, I think so. That is his biggest problem and the source for all the trouble.

If what is said about his sexual misdemeanor is true, that is bad enough in itself, although his various blunders seem to have been results of at least passive consent - non-violent but nevertheless bordering on coercion.

But he sets himself up as a teacher divinely inspired in his actions. In this case his blunders become actually sexual exploitation of a relationship based on dependence and trust.

If someone presents themselves as a "Swami" and a spiritual guide for their followers then we are entitled to expect a much higher standard of behaviour from them than we would from an ordinary seeker.

What I find unbearable is the way he handles the mess he has created in the past. He does not seem to be aware of any mistakes he may have committed. Once could expect from Walters that at some time he would openly regret and admit the trouble he has caused, or at least set the record straight, but he doesn't and hides behind noncommittal statements and criticism of SRF. I don't think that I expect too much when I demand truthfulness to be the first law for someone who claims to be divinely inspired or "in direct contact with Master", or the only door to him etc. And Walters doesn't stop weaving his own myth, perhaps in a coercive way.
